About the Role
As a Product Manager (m/w/d) at CSP, you will be responsible for the technical and strategic development of our software solutions for industrial applications. You will ensure that our products are optimally aligned with the requirements of production, lean management, and quality management, creating real added value for our customers.
You will act as a link between customers, departments, development, and management, bringing together production know-how, process understanding, and product thinking.
What awaits you
- Responsibility for the product management of our software solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Analysis of customer requirements from production, lean management, and QM
- Translation of functional requirements into clear product visions, concepts, and requirements for software development
- Close collaboration with development, consulting, sales, and customers
- Technical evaluation and prioritization of requirements and further developments
- Ensuring that our software efficiently supports and optimizes production processes
- Support for the further development of functions related to:
- Production processes
- Lean methods
- Quality management in production
- Accompanying product launches, releases, and further developments
- Support for sales and consulting through product knowledge and technical expertise
- Creation and maintenance of product documentation, requirements, and decision papers
- Moderation of workshops and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders
What you bring
- Several years of industry experience, ideally in a production-related environment
- Professional experience as a Product Manager, Production Manager, or in a comparable role
- Very good understanding of production processes and industrial operations
- Sound knowledge of lean methods (e.g., KVP, value stream analysis, continuous improvement)
- Experience in quality management in production (QM Production)
- Ability to translate functional requirements from production into software and product requirements
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills and confident demeanor when interacting with customers, development, and management
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken (at least B2, ideally C1)
Nice to have
- Experience with software products or digitalization projects in an industrial environment
- Basic understanding of software development, requirements, or agile working methods
- Experience in moderating workshops or training sessions
- Understanding of economic key figures and product decisions
