Role: Oracle DBA (RAC / Performance Tuning)
Location: Frankfurt, Germany (Hybrid - Monthly 2 days onsite support)
Type: Contract - (12 months)
Experience: 10 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide production support for large-scale Oracle databases
- Manage Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC environments (build, administration, troubleshooting, tuning)
- Administer Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure), ASM, and Dataguard
- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, datapump, export/import
- Maintain databases via Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution
- Work in a 24x7 global support model
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle DBA, RAC, ASM, Dataguard
- Hands-on expertise in Exadata (health checks, migration, patching, upgrades)
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning, backup & recovery (RMAN)
- Experience in SQL, automation scripting, and database optimization
- Exposure to Linux, Solaris, AIX with shell scripting
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Familiarity with ITIL-based Change/Release Management
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in large enterprise/global environments
- Ability to collaborate with offshore teams
- Strong ownership and proactive mindset
- German Fluency is a plus
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Relevant certifications (Oracle / ITIL) are a plus
