We are looking for a talented Finance Manager (m/w/d) to join our team specializing in Finance for our CDD Finance Department in Gross-Gerau, Hessen, Germany. The role is offered in a hybrid working model, with 60% of the time in the Gross-Gerau office and 40% working remotely.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensures consistent and compliant accounting practices by implementing corporate accounting policies and procedures.
Maintains accurate financial records by managing the general ledger and overseeing both corporate and statutory accounting activities.
Analyzes, reviews, and records complex financial data to support reliable financial reporting and sound business decisions.
Strengthens internal controls by identifying weaknesses, recommending improvements, and leading the implementation of corrective actions.
Serves as a key contact for complex accounting matters, supporting local teams and collaborating closely with other Finance functions.
Prepares and submits the monthly consolidated reporting package on time and in line with corporate requirements.
Acts as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete responses to all audit inquiries.
Coordinates and finalizes statutory financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.

Qualifications

Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field required.
Several years of relevant professional experience, including experience in supervising or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Strong technical accounting expertise, financial regulations, and financial internal controls.
The ability to analyze complex business processes and assess internal control risks to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to manage ambiguity, direct work, and support the development of team members.
German language skills (preferred) to effectively handle audit-related communication with external auditors and the local business.
