Job Details

The healthcare market is undergoing a transformation, with an increasing shift of medical services to the outpatient sector.

As Brand Manager (m/f/d) AOZ (Ambulatory Surgery Centers), you will act as a European market expert, developing effective product and solution strategies based on market, competitor, and customer analyses.

The focus is on the development and implementation of the European AOZ strategy, initially with a focus on Germany.

What awaits you

  • Overall responsibility for the European scaling of the AOZ project, including market analyses, risk assessment, business modeling, and long-term portfolio roadmap (3-5 years)
  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Product Manager AOZ for the German market
  • Development and implementation of the European marketing strategy in close cooperation with local teams (target group approach, branding, messaging, materials, positioning, pricing, and annual marketing plans)
  • Development and monetization of new AOZ services in cooperation with the divisions, including portfolio growth, new product development, line extensions, and M&A initiatives
  • Management of integrated marketing channels and assets (website, social media, marketing materials, scalable tools, campaigns, partnerships, and best practices for local adaptation)
  • Coordination of cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment between divisions, internal communication, project management, and responsibility for the European marketing budget
  • Leadership of the customer and KOL engagement strategy, including advisory boards, voice-of-customer activities, pan-European events, training programs, and building strategic customer relationships
  • Strengthening brand experiences and training initiatives by identifying internal and external engagement formats and developing training content in collaboration with sales and divisions
  • Monitoring performance and brand impact by analyzing business results, brand perception, and future growth drivers, and deriving targeted measures for strategy implementation

What you bring

Required Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics, or a comparable course of study -- ideally with a focus on Marketing or Sales.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in marketing or sales in a medical technology company.
  • Fluent German and fluent English skills (at least C1) to build local and European communication strategies.
  • Convincing communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to coordinate stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrable success in leading marketing projects, including marketing plans, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Extensive experience in managing cross-functional projects and in building and maintaining cross-functional and international relationships.
  • Experience in managing multiple parallel projects while adhering to timelines.
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proactive self-starter with a hands-on mentality and enjoyment of teamwork in a matrix organization.

Desirable Qualifications

  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Professional experience in international structures and matrix organizations
  • Initial leadership experience
  • Experience in the outpatient market environment

Additional Information

  • The position can be performed from home office anywhere in Germany.
