For our sales location in Hamburg - Eppendorf, we are seeking a: Junior / Regional Key Account Manager (m/f/d) to manage our regional key accounts in the food retail sector.

YOUR TASKS

As a Junior / Regional Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you will support the operational management of our regional key accounts in German food retail (LEH). In close collaboration with our sales team, you will continuously analyze customer and market potential in the FMCG sector, develop marketing strategies, and implement customer-specific concepts. You will monitor volumes, contribution margins, and budget developments, significantly contributing to the successful implementation of our sales and corporate goals in both branded and private label business.

Your specific activities include:

  • Support in managing regional key accounts (supermarket regions/affiliated discounters, including independent retailers) within the retail sector.
  • Operational support in planning and budgeting volumes and contribution margins for the area of responsibility.
  • Continuous identification and utilization of all customer potentials in fresh, canned, and frozen goods for both branded and private label products, in line with divisional and customer strategies.
  • Implementation of customer-specific marketing concepts and measures (listings, promotions, placements, etc.) in regional headquarters, and potentially on the shop floor.
  • Support in managing external agency partners for regional field operations.
  • Operational interface with adjacent departments (Sales Service, Accounting, Logistics, Order Processing, etc.).
  • Continuous market/competitor analysis.
  • Team support in analyses and evaluations (budget/pricing & yields).
  • Assistance in creating presentations and sales materials.
  • SuperUser in the forecasting area for medium and long-term planning.
  • Organization and participation in trade fairs and events.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed degree in Business Administration (BWL) or a comparable qualification.
  • Initial experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the FMCG / Food sector (approx. 3-5 years).
  • Good knowledge of the structures of German food retail (LEH).
  • Strong communication, persuasive personality with confident demeanor and presentation skills at all hierarchical levels.
  • Analytical and structured thinking ability, with a high affinity for numbers.
  • Clear focus on results and goals.
  • Strong sales orientation and high affinity for customer and relationship management.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel within Germany.
  • Ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders in both strategic and operational day-to-day business.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
