From this unique wealth of experience nationwide, Datenservice+ GmbH was founded in July 2023 from Provinzial Holding AG. Datenservice+ GmbH acquires, collects, processes, and generates precise and up-to-date geographical information. With these services, Datenservice+ GmbH supports companies and organizations in making informed decisions and optimizing their business processes. With access to high-quality static and dynamic data as well as enrichment through AI, pinpoint and easily accessible information is provided for digital twins.

Your Responsibilities

We offer you the opportunity to actively shape your career in data science and data engineering and to gain valuable experience in a dynamic team. As part of our agile team, you will continuously work on the conception, further development, and automation of our data pipelines, as well as on the development of data-driven analysis and modeling approaches for our information products. • Conception, setup, and further development of robust data pipelines for the preparation, transformation, and harmonization of large (geo-)data-based datasets (using FME, Python, and ETL workflows, among others)
• Development of data-driven analysis and modeling approaches to generate high-quality, consistent information products from heterogeneous raw data
• Ensuring high data quality through validation, monitoring, and quality assurance processes, as well as continuous updating of data foundations
• Close collaboration with software development and sales in translating business requirements into scalable data solutions
• Varied work in an innovative tech company and collaborative teamwork form the core of your activity, ensuring our software and data quality
• You are part of a motivated and interdisciplinary team and actively shape our collaboration and culture

Your Profile

• Completed studies in (Geo- or Business) Informatics, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
• Sound experience in the preparation, transformation, and analysis of structured and unstructured (geo-)data, ideally with FME or comparable ETL tools
• Very good knowledge of Python and experience with common data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Polars
• Experience in the practical implementation of data pipelines
• Understanding of data architectures, APIs, and microservices
• High standards for data and software quality, and enjoyment of automating recurring processes
• Experience in data analysis in the context of the real estate or energy industry (e.g., energy demands, renewable energies, location and potential analyses) is an advantage
• Analytical thinking skills, structured working methods, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex business issues
• Team spirit, initiative, and a desire for continuous professional and technological development
• Additional knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

• • Web GIS / Web Mapping (e.g., MapLibre)
• • Java/Spring Boot
