The purchasing department ensures the needs-based procurement of goods and services, thereby contributing sustainably to the company's success. Our goal is to ensure efficient, transparent, and cost-optimized procurement through digital solutions and coordinated strategies. We rely on trusting cooperation with internal customers and suppliers, market-compatible conditions, and the integration of sustainability. In your role, you will represent DATEV's requirements towards contractual partners and potential suppliers, thus making an important contribution to the implementation of our purchasing strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking on tasks in tactical IT purchasing for software, including selected operational activities, within the framework of the goods group strategy
- Partnership-based collaboration with the Lead Buyer as a contact person for internal stakeholders and advice on purchasing issues
- Creation of tenders, evaluation of offers and solution concepts, as well as support in negotiating complex framework agreements with global providers
- Preparation of work results for management and target-group-oriented presentation; use of internal data sources for deriving recommendations for action
- Responsibility for system maintenance, order processing, and contract renewals
What We're Looking For:
Required Skills:
- You preferably have a degree in business law, alternatively in business administration, or a comparable qualification/further education.
- You have relevant purchasing experience and stay up-to-date.
- You have good English skills.
- You enjoy working independently, results-oriented, and consistently drive things forward.
- You routinely use SAP S4/Hana and Microsoft 365 products.
Learnable Skills:
- You will learn the necessary knowledge of IT applications during your onboarding.
- DATEV-specific goods group management and the use of internal purchasing systems will be taught to you in the category team.
What We Offer:
- Possibility to work in a "home office" in the sense of mobile, location-independent work within Germany, including the associated technical equipment
- Flexible working hours, including the option for time off in lieu for good work-life balance
- Fair and transparent remuneration, 13th-month salary, holiday bonus, and many other financial incentives
- And much more...
