Your Tasks:

You will significantly contribute to building a secure, standardized, and user-friendly cloud environment that enables our internal customers to use Azure and AWS services efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

• Responsibility for IT security in public cloud environments (including Microsoft Azure, AWS) and ensuring stable, secure operation.
• Conception, configuration, and operation of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and further development of associated protection concepts.
• Automation of cloud infrastructures and processes using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, YAML/JSON).
• Design, setup, operation, and security of modern cloud platforms (CaaS/Kubernetes, Container Security, PaaS) with special consideration of security requirements.
• Deepening of DevSecOps skills.
• Integration of security services into a deployment pipeline.
• API-based provision of security services.

Your Profile:

• You have a successful university degree in computer science or completed vocational training as an IT specialist in system integration, each with many years of professional experience, or comparable knowledge.
• You have very good knowledge of IT security in public cloud environments (ideally Microsoft Azure and AWS).
• You have relevant professional experience in the conception, configuration, and operation of Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
• You have many years of experience in automating and scripting cloud infrastructures, confidently using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and YAML/JSON.
• You have solid knowledge in the setup, operation, and security of modern cloud platforms (Kubernetes, Container Security, etc.).
• You have a deep understanding of security requirements and architectures in cloud environments.
• Software engineering skills (Python, Go, Spring Boot) and the associated use of development and delivery tools (e.g., GitHub, Artifactory) as well as knowledge in the development and connection of APIs (e.g., REST APIs) are desirable.
