Your Responsibilities:

You are part of a dedicated team that operates a modern cloud data center for DATEV. The focus is on the development and operation of the IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on providing a high-performance GPU platform. We value open communication, mutual support, and a working style that emphasizes learning and development. • You will conceptualize, implement, and operate a high-performance GPU infrastructure for data-intensive applications and deep learning scenarios.
• You will be responsible for our cloud-native system landscape based on OpenStack and Kubernetes - from setup and integration into the DATEV ecosystem to continuous development.
• You will develop concepts for a high degree of automation and implement efficient processes and services that enable fast and reliable product development.
• You will work closely with platform stakeholders, advise them on architecture and usage concepts, and support them in successful onboarding.
• You will contribute your knowledge of data center processes such as change management and design secure, scalable cloud services using modern service design principles.
• You will deepen your understanding of data protection and security standards such as GDPR and other compliance requirements to operate our platforms reliably and in compliance with regulations.
• You will develop an advanced DevOps mindset and work with automated deployment and lifecycle management processes to create efficient and future-proof solutions.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable field with several years of professional experience, or a comparable vocational training with many years of professional experience.
• You enjoy working with modern cloud technologies and have sound experience in the administration and integration of platforms such as OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• You have a good understanding of GPU technologies (e.g., time-slicing, vGPU, MIG) and know how to plan and use resources efficiently - ideal for demanding AI/ML scenarios.
• You love automating processes and use scripting languages like Python, Go, Git, or Terraform to implement Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
• You have experience in developing well-thought-out concepts for automation and platform operation, thus ensuring efficient, future-proof solutions.
• You can communicate complex technical content understandably and are experienced in advising platform users.
