Your mission
As a Senior IT Specialist, you will own our day-to-day IT operations, support and guide the IT team, act as an escalation point for complex issues, and help shape a scalable and secure IT setup as we grow.
YOUR TASKS:
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues, service requests and user support needs by creating and improving our procedures, tooling and guidelines.
- Support and guide part of the IT support team, jumping in when needed and helping set clear, practical standards.
- Maintain system security, performance, backups, and data integrity.
- Be a go-to escalation point, working hands-on with the team to solve more complex technical challenges.
- Coordinate IT projects, vendors, policies, and technology solutions to support business operations.
- Help shape our IT setup as we grow, contributing to IT strategy, architecture decisions, and continuous process improvements.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Alternatively, you have successfully completed an IT apprenticeship.
- Proven work experience in IT support, systems administration, IT project management or a related role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and common business applications combined with experience with cybersecurity practices and data protection.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
- Excellent communication skills in English (C1+). German skills as a nice to have.
- Ideally, you have also mentored or assisted some junior IT professionals.
