Responsibilities

Own. Understand. Close. Build.

As an experienced Sales Manager at DeepUp, you will manage the entire sales cycle for Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts – from the initial conversation through contract closing to successful handover to Customer Success.

  • Pipeline Ownership: Build and actively manage your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, qualifying incoming leads, and partner referrals.
  • Deal-Making: Conduct in-depth discovery calls, identify customer needs, and translate them into compelling DeepUp use cases.
  • Product Presentation: Deliver structured demos and solution presentations to various stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers.
  • Closing Strength: Navigate complex buying centers, handle objections confidently, and successfully close deals.
  • Customer Focus: Ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success, thereby supporting long-term successful customer relationships.
  • Market Feedback: Provide structured market feedback to Product and Leadership to help sharpen our positioning.
  • Team Building: Play an active role in building our sales culture and go-to-market approach as we continue to grow.

Qualifications

  • Experienced & Sales-Driven: With 2-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS or tech sales, you have successfully built, managed, and closed deals, ideally with Mid-Market or Enterprise clients.
  • Structured & Closing-Oriented: You always have your pipeline in view, work CRM-based, and know exactly which next steps will advance deals.
  • Customer-Centric: You ask the right questions, quickly understand customer needs, and can derive compelling use cases and clear added value from them.
  • Strong Communicator: Whether in discovery calls, demos, or discussions with C-level decision-makers – you present yourself confidently and get complex topics across clearly.
  • Hands-on & Independent: You don't need a ready-made playbook to get started. You create structure, think proactively, and are eager to actively help build our sales approach.
  • German & English: German at C2 level and English at C1 level are no problem for you.
  • Nice to have: Experience in infrastructure technology, construction, or related industries is a plus – but not a requirement.
