Senior Data Scientist - (Logistics, Pricing)

About The Opportunity

Your mission:

• Design and implement automation and experimentation algorithms for pricing, from conception to production.
• Take technical ownership and uphold high quality standards within the team. Mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and translate business needs into data science solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest research and suggest state-of-the-art models to improve customer outcomes.
• Contribute to long-term strategic planning and defining a short-term roadmap to tackle complex and meaningful data problems.
• Most importantly: You're excited to build global systems affecting millions of customers, and you continuously drive for excellence.

What you need to be successful

• Solid statistical skills---you're confident with fundamentals and first-principles thinking in statistics and machine learning theory.
• Strong engineering background---you write clean, maintainable Python code and SQL queries, following best practices for production systems.
• Deep expertise in at least one relevant domain (e.g., causal inference, time series, Bayesian methods, neural networks, NLP/LLM, ranking/matching, advanced experimentation).
• Thoughtful approach---you challenge assumptions and care deeply about working with clean, trustworthy data.
• Substantial experience in a business environment where you developed a strong business understanding.
• Clear communicator---you can distill complex requirements from many stakeholders into a clear, MVP-ready direction.
• You value agile processes, data-driven development, reliability, and rigorous experimentation.
