Your Responsibilities:

  • You actively participate in data science projects, using the freedom to contribute your own ideas and shape solutions independently.
  • You are responsible for the conception, development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of data-driven models used by your colleagues (m/f/d) in chemical adhesive development.
  • You are also responsible for preparing the required input data.
  • Your chemical understanding helps you identify important correlations between raw materials and adhesive properties.

What You Bring:

  • Completed studies in chemistry or a comparable field (preferably with a doctorate).
  • Several years of experience in data science / machine learning within the chemical industry.
  • Good knowledge of Python and SQL, as well as experience with common Python libraries (e.g., NumPy, Scikit, Pandas).
  • Confident use of modern development and collaboration tools (e.g., Git, IDEs, Jira).
  • A computer-savvy approach to work and enjoyment in dealing with data, data science methods, numbers, and mathematical models.
  • An analytical and cross-departmental mindset, initiative, good communication skills, and very good organizational skills.
