Private equity funds managed by Blackstone acquired DESOTEC in 2021.

Your tasks and responsibilities?

As a Product Specialist, you will:

• Contribute to the development and launch of new sustainable filtration solutions.
• Work closely with the Product Development Manager and collaborate across multiple teams (sales, lab, R&D, procurement, technical department, operations, ...).
• Build strong technical knowledge of our activated carbon and mobile filter product range, and act as a go-to person for internal technical questions.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Have the ability to deep-dive on technical topics, perform root-cause analyses and define roadmaps for improvement and growth.

Who are you?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry and have an analytical, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• You're highly organized, administratively strong, communicative, and take initiative with a solution-oriented approach.
• You're fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• You're an Excel wizard with strong PowerPoint skills and know how to turn data into actionable insights.
• You're familiar with tools like Power BI, InDesign, Jet Reports, and Microsoft Dynamics -- or eager to learn them quickly.

Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden?

Als Product Specialist:

• Draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling en lancering van nieuwe duurzame filtratieoplossingen.
• Werk je nauw samen met de Product Development Manager en collega's uit verschillende teams (sales, lab, R&D, aankoop, technische dienst, operations, ...).
• Bouw je sterke technische kennis op van ons assortiment actieve kool en mobiele filters, en fungeer je als aanspreekpunt voor interne technische vragen.
• Help je mee om producten van hoge kwaliteit te leveren die niet alleen voldoen aan de verwachtingen van onze klanten, maar ze ook overtreffen.
• Duik je in technische vraagstukken, voer je root-cause analyses uit en stel je verbeter- en groeiplannen op.

Wie ben jij?

• Je hebt een bachelor in Engineering of Chemie en een analytische, probleemoplossende mindset met oog voor detail.
• Je beschikt over sterke organisatorische en administratieve vaardigheden en neemt graag initiatief.
• Je bent communicatief, oplossingsgericht en spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels; extra talen zijn een plus.
• Je bent een echte Excel-wizard, hebt sterke PowerPoint-skills en weet data om te zetten in inzichten.
• Je hebt kennis van tools zoals Power BI, InDesign, Jet Reports en Microsoft Dynamics -- of leert ze snel aan.
