Cloud Expert (m/w/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience and very good knowledge in software development in a cloud environment (e.g., with European cloud providers, private cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS) as well as in the development and implementation of cloud architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud migration strategies and tools.
• Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the implementation of security standards is an advantage.
• Experience in collaboration with agile teams and DevOps practices.
• Strong ability to analyze, evaluate, and present complex issues, combined with communication and teamwork skills, a high degree of commitment, and independence.
• Very good communication skills in German and English.

Desirable:

• Knowledge in the implementation of security solutions such as IAM, firewalls, and encryption.

Responsibilities:

• Development of the software solution for the Integrated Reporting Framework, which is to be used in the system of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB).
• Development and implementation of cloud architectures.
• Your focus will be on the use of future-oriented cloud technologies, and you will coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders and departments within the Bundesbank and the ESCB.
