About this job

The Deutsche Hilfsbund is forming a new infrastructure for social impact. We bundle strong member organizations, develop strategic programs, and rely on a professional digital presence. Social media is a central lever for reach, reputation, and mobilization. For this, we need a creative and structured personality to make our brand message visible.

We are looking for you as a Social Media Manager starting as soon as possible, working 100% on a voluntary basis.

Tasks

  • Conception and implementation of the social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X
  • Creation of editorial content including text, design, and short video formats
  • Planning and management of the editorial calendar within the M365 environment
  • Community management including monitoring, reactions, and dialogue maintenance
  • Conducting research on political, economic, and social issues
  • Development of new formats for reach, engagement, and thought leadership
  • Analysis of performance with evaluations and recommendations for action
  • Close coordination with the presidium, board, and specialist departments
  • Ensuring clear, professional, and consistent brand communication

Qualification

  • Experience in social media, content creation, or digital communication
  • Confident handling of Canva or Adobe Express, as well as solid basic knowledge of video editing
  • Excellent written communication skills and a feel for trends
  • Structured way of working, creativity, and a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Familiarity with M365 tools
  • Interest in political, social, and economic topics
  • Willingness to take on responsibility in a voluntary capacity
