About Us

We at DSGV represent the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe as a technical and leading association. With us, you will be at the forefront in every respect in a team of highly qualified specialists -- in our Digitallabor, the newsroom, in representing the interests of our members in the legislative process, in banking supervision, or in one of our future projects.

Your future task at the market leader: Understanding people, providing security, thinking about the future -- that is the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe. Our focus is on the mid-sized businesses, and we are strongly rooted regionally. Community-oriented action and sustainability are our core values, and our group is the largest non-public sponsor of sports and culture in Germany.

As an established leading association, we offer you both -- an agile atmosphere in a diverse environment and, at the same time, secure working conditions with real work-life balance and a great overall package.

For our Digitallabor staff unit, we are looking for a Referent (m/f/d) Agiles Management starting April 1, 2026. The position is full-time and permanent.

Your Responsibilities

  • Organization and management of agile projects for the technical testing of innovative financial technologies, such as DeFi, AI, Cloud, API, etc., within a secure and defined implementation framework.
  • Agile and classic project management in various roles, primarily as Lead Product Owner in "Agile at Scale" initiatives, potentially also as Scrum Master.
  • Organizational support of existing or to-be-created lab environments, creation of framework conditions for the rapid development, demonstration, and operation of corresponding concepts and ideas.
  • Coordination and synchronization of the ideas, research approaches, and results to be implemented with the most important stakeholders of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, e.g., Finanz Informatik, DSV, etc., as well as with politics and society at German and European levels.
  • Coordination and synchronization with the various "Ideation Funnels" of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe.
  • Representation of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe in projects with politics, the banking industry, and other sectors (e.g., initiative of the Federal Chancellery) at German and international levels.
  • Derivation of actions for the SFG from the results and experiences of the Digitallabor and current market developments, particularly technological innovations and legal/regulatory aspects.
  • Cost-benefit analyses.

Your Profile

  • University degree (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering) or comparable technical training with a focus on software development, IT architecture, and fintech.
  • Several years of professional experience in the financial services industry and/or IT environment, preferably in a renowned management consultancy or a successful digital/finance company.
  • Several years of experience in agile projects with cross-functional teams as a Product Owner and Scrum Master.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development and architecture in digitally relevant technologies. "Hands-on mentality," close proximity to the developer and tech community, but with the ability to operate and convince at the CxO/GF level.
  • Several years of experience as a project manager in "classic" IT projects and IT programs.
  • Goal orientation, assumption of responsibility.
  • Presentation of complex issues tailored to the audience.
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills.
  • English spoken and written.
  • Confident demeanor in committees and public.
  • Strong communication and argumentation skills.

We Offer You

  • Work-life balance in a modern hybrid work environment.
  • Flexible working time models.
  • Attractive salary package.
  • 30 days of vacation and days off on December 24th and 31st.
  • Comprehensive company pension plan.
  • Capital-forming benefits at the maximum rate.
  • High subsidy for the Deutschlandticket.
  • Jobrad leasing.
  • Cafeteria and restaurant checks.
