Supplier Quality Manager (m/w/d) Einkauf

Your Responsibilities:

• You will take over the operational and strategic management of supplier quality, including carrying out supplier releases, audits, evaluations, and visits.
• You will support the APQP process from a quality management and purchasing perspective in cooperation with suppliers nationally and internationally.
• Supporting our purchasing activities and series support for our suppliers are among your central tasks; you will work closely with our internal specialist departments.
• You will shape the procurement strategy through proactive supplier portfolio management with regard to opportunities and risks.
• Ensuring customer-specific and legal requirements as well as compliance with contractual agreements at the supplier completes your profile.

Your Profile:

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, or similar, ideally with a specialization in quality management; you also have several years of professional experience in purchasing and strong economic and technical understanding.
• You have already gained initial professional experience in applying quality methods and conducting supplier audits.
• Ideally, you have a qualification as a process auditor (m/f/d) (VDA 6.3), good English skills, confident use of MS Office, and a strong understanding of standards regarding IATF 16949.
• Independent, analytical work, a confident demeanor, and a proactive communication style characterize you.
• Strong initiative and the desire to proactively tackle topics round off your profile and help you master even complex challenges.
