Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Support in financial and liquidity planning
• Preparation of sales tax advance returns and clarification of tax issues
• Management and reconciliation of general and subsidiary ledgers
• Contact person (m/f/d) for internal departments and external auditors
• Participation in the optimization of accounting and reporting processes

Profile

• Completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on finance and accounting
• Several years of experience in accounting, ideally in a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of HGB and experience with ERP systems
• Structured, analytical way of working and a high affinity for numbers
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and independent action
