Responsibilities
- Financial planning & analysis: Collection, analysis and interpretation of financial data to support informed decisions, development of budgets, forecasts, as well as monitoring and explanation of variances.
- Reporting: Preparation and presentation of results in a clear, management-oriented format. Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including financial forecasts.
- Cost control & optimization: Analysis of cost structures, identification of potential savings, and optimization of business processes for efficiency and profitability. Support with product costing and post-calculation.
- Performance Management: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring metrics, and providing insights to improve business performance.
- Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, funding rules, and legal requirements. Support during audits.
- Process improvement: Support in advancing process optimization in the production area, resource allocation, and process analyses to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Collaboration with management, operational areas and other departments to ensure financial transparency and support strategic decisions.
- Ensuring accurate and timely inventory valuation and cost center controlling.
Profile
- Degree in finance, business administration, business informatics or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience as a controller (m/f/d), ideally in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Confident handling of relevant IT applications (ERP systems, MS Office, PowerBI, LucaNet).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Resilience, flexibility, and assertiveness.
- Experience in SAP implementation, CO module, is an advantage.
- Proactive, results-oriented and energetic work style.
- A highly developed business acumen as well as an open, positive and collaborative attitude.
- Prior experience in project controlling is an advantage.
