The Role

We are seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our infrastructure's security, reliability, and performance through new processes, automation, and tool implementation.

What You Will Do

• Work within a GCP-based CI/CD environment, evolving our infrastructure, automating/supporting/troubleshooting CI/CD processes, and writing/maintaining Terraform code.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters across various global regions.
• Ensure the organization is equipped with observability tools and promote best practices.
• Engage in incident handling, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
• Develop automations to reduce operational and manual workload.
• Collaborate with development teams on Root Cause Analysis for Post Mortems.

Workplace

• Fully remote or based in our Berlin HQ.

Your Profile

• Solid DevOps experience, preferably within a scaling startup.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and its basic management tools (e.g., curl, wget).
• Proficiency in Python or Ruby for scripting and debugging.
• Excellent knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with public cloud providers (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable).
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GCP Cloud Build, GitLab CI, Argo CD).
• Experience in observability and reliability, ideally with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Understanding of basic encryption principles and related tools/protocols (SSL, OpenSSH, certificates).
• Fluent English communication skills.
