Branch Manager (m/f/d)

DP World — We are looking for a doer. Not a "shoulder." Someone who just does it.

Stuttgart is our most important local transport area — but currently a bit tight for space. Our team is experienced, dedicated, and needs someone who truly leads, is hands-on, and is eager to build something new together. And yes: New, representative premises are at the top of your agenda.

Your Responsibilities

• You will manage the branch with full P&L responsibility and a team of approx. 24 employees (warehouse, dispatch, drivers).
• You are on-site daily, manage operational processes, and ensure quality, productivity, and safety are correct.
• You will further develop processes, implement standards (Lean, 5S), and keep an eye on KPIs, costs, and budgets.
• You will build a stable, positive team culture and get the team fully behind you.
• You lead, coach, develop — and take decisive action when necessary.
• You negotiate with service providers, coordinate projects, and work closely with Operations, HR, Finance & Management.
• Top priority: Find a new, suitable branch for Stuttgart and drive the relocation forward.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment.
• Leadership experience with mixed teams — ideally with employees who have been with the company for a long time.
• You take responsibility, pitch in yourself, and are simultaneously strategic enough to develop a location.
• You can win people over, communicate clearly, provide stability, and build trust.
• German fluent, English solid.
• Full-time on-site — no remote work (we are an operational site).
