Job Description

We are looking for you as a Sea Freight Export Specialist (m/f/d) at DP World Logistics Germany at our location in Hamburg.

Are you the professional when it comes to planning, organizing, and handling high-class sea freight transports and do you enjoy working in an international team?

Do you want to drive important projects forward and ensure first-class service for our customers? Then you are exactly right with us.

Your Tasks:

• Order processing and management of worldwide sea freight transports, including documentation and deadline monitoring
• Communication with national and international customers and service providers along the entire transport chain
• Preparation and creation of customs documents and papers
• Inquiry and checking of offers and conditions within the scope of the assigned transports
• Support with new customer implementation, including checking and providing the necessary documents and information
• Preparation and execution of billing, including month-end closing
• Close cooperation with national and international colleagues

Your Ideal Qualification:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship in freight forwarding and logistics services or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in freight forwarding with a focus on sea freight
• Confident handling of MS Office applications
• Good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
• You are a team player, responsible, communicative, reliable, and can keep an overview even in turbulent times
• You value direct contact with internal and external customers, and independent, goal-oriented work, as well as a hands-on mentality characterize you
