Role Description
This is a flexible, part-time collaboration ideal for someone interested in arts management, cultural production, or event programming.
Responsibilities may include:
- Researching potential venues, festivals, and event opportunities
- Contacting presenters, programmers, and event organizers
- Pitching the company and sharing promotional materials
- Assisting with booking negotiations and scheduling performances
- Helping develop new partnerships and touring opportunities
Structure
- Freelance collaboration
- Flexible working hours (approximately 5–10 hours per week depending on activity)
- Commission-based compensation: typically 15–20% of confirmed performance fees secured by the booking manager
Skills and qualities
- Strong communication and professional email writing
- German and English communication skills for contacting venues and partners
- Ability to research venues, festivals, and event opportunities
- Organized and able to track contacts and follow-ups
