Content Manager (m/f/d) - AI & Localization

Right now, our content team spends too much time doing the same things over and over: localizing, adjusting, formatting. That's time stolen from storytelling. We at EGYM are hiring you to change that by designing a system where AI handles the repetition, and humans handle the creativity. We're transforming how we write content. Instead of one person doing everything, AI handles scale and humans handle strategy, voice, and quality. You'll be the architect of this system -- designing prompts, refining outputs, standardizing processes, and adapting content for our key markets like e.g. DACH, France, Spain or North America. Prompt Strategy

You design and test prompt templates for different content types (blog posts, social, email, website copy, etc.). You document what works, what doesn't, and why while constantly asking: "Can AI do this well, or does it need a human?"

Output Refinement

You analyze and refine AI output to establish high standards, focusing on identifying patterns in what the AI does well versus where a human touch is needed so you can feed those insights back into your prompts for continuous improvement

Localization Architecture

You establish a standardized workflow across our global key markets, working hand-in-hand with local teams to ensure our content is culturally relevant while remaining on-brand. Recognizing the crucial difference between translation and true adaptation, you ensure this standard is maintained across all touchpoints

Quality Gate

You design and own quality standards. What does "on-brand" look like? What does "market-ready" mean? You document it, enforce it., and make it repeatable

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You work with our Content Manager on strategy, with Design on visual-text alignment, and with Marketing on campaign needs. You're the translator between "we need more content" and "here's how we scale it responsibly."

Continuous Iteration

You measure our success by tracking AI performance across content types, localization quality by market, and creative satisfaction, using these insights to proactively spot and resolve bottlenecks

Jasper Mastery & Tool Evolution

You are the expert on our AI tools (Jasper, Claude, Gemini etc.) to stay ahead of new tools and evaluate what's worth adopting

Your fitness level

Qualification

You bring 3+ years of professional content experience (Marketing, SaaS, Tech, Journalism, or equivalent). You've written, edited, localized and published content

Storytelling

You understand storytelling structure and know when AI can handle the execution and when a human needs to own the voice

Localization Experience

You have hands-on experience localizing content and know it's not just language. You've worked across international markets and understand the nuances

AI Proficiency

You're comfortable with AI tools and have hands-on experience (Jasper, Claude, Gemini, or similar) combined with curiosity, an experimental approach and the willingness to iterate

Process & Project Thinking

You manage cross-functional projects well organized by documenting processes, identifying inefficiencies, and building repeatable workflows

Communication

You bring excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and are able to adapt your communication for creatives, marketers, local teams, and leadership

Resilience

You thrive in fast-paced environments while handling ambiguity by moving forward with what you know and adapting as you learn more

Forward Thinking

You see AI as a creative tool and efficiency enabler, not a threat. You're excited about the possibilities and honest about the limitations

Your training goal for your first 6 months

Understanding

You will map our current content output and pinpoint localization bottlenecks while defining what "on-brand" means across different markets. Through this deep dive, you establish yourself as a trusted partner who truly understands the root of our challenges

Building the systems

You build the foundation for our content operations by designing prompt templates for our key formats (such as blog, social, and email) while mapping a seamless localization workflow and establishing a clear quality checklist to define what passes or needs revision

Freeing creative capacities

You made sure that your Content Manager spends less than 20% of their time on localization and repetitive adaptation. The rest is strategy, storytelling, and original thinking

Ownership

You have a clear point of view on how AI fits into our content process by experimenting with AI in your workflows. You figure out: Where does AI excel? Where does it fail? Where do we need humans?
