As a Junior Business Analyst (m/f/d) at EGYM Wellpass you will support us in making the right decisions based on the right numbers and focusing on the relevant KPIs. This sounds exciting to you? Responsibilities:
- Dashboards: Assist in supporting the entire company in making data-based decisions by creating meaningful dashboards in Tableau.
- Data: Support the extraction, validation, processing, linking and analysis of data from different data sources to calculate business-relevant KPIs. Handle analytics-related tickets and implementation of new requirements from different teams.
- Reporting: Help prepare monthly reportings and regular management updates.
- Analyses: Contribute to ad hoc analyses that are used for strategic decisions.
- Derivation of actions: Help deduce actions from the data which have an impact on improving our business.
- Decision making: Assist the teams in analyzing data and making the right decisions.
- Optimization: Support in the revamp of existing dashboards and datamarts, including data cleaning, documentation and definition of business rules.
Your fitness level
Qualifications:
- University degree: Hold (or are about to complete) a university degree in business administration, computer science, mathematics, statistics or a comparable field.
- Professional experience: Have initial experience (e.g., internships, student jobs or university projects) in areas such as Business Analytics or a related field.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Possess basic Tableau skills (or similar BI tool) and a foundational understanding of how relational databases work.
- Data Proficiency: Have experience creating queries with SQL.
- Excel & Powerpoint: Be comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint and eager to learn how to present complex topics in an easily understandable way.
- Working method: Have a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, maintaining high accuracy.
- Language skills: Possess professional proficiency in English (German as a plus).
Your training goal for your first 6 months
- Database knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the structure of our different databases and the relevant team KPIs.
- Support in decision making: Start adding value to the teams by contributing to data transparency (building dashboards) and supporting decision-making processes.
- Reportings & analyses: Help ensure that reportings and analyses are functional, accurate, efficient, and delivered on time.
- Contribution of ideas: Bring your fresh ideas to the table and actively learn to elevate your skills in business analytics.
