Application Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience with software solutions is advantageous
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as C++ is advantageous; further knowledge (e.g., C, Cobol, or AS400) can be deepened
• Ideally, initial insights into warehouse management systems or comparable applications
• Good written and spoken communication skills in German and English, as well as teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Support our customers with questions and technical problems regarding our software solutions
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, especially project management and product development, to develop sustainable and high-quality solution proposals
• Conduct training on technical and product-related functions to optimize software usage for the customer
• Proactive monitoring of hosting and application services to ensure high system availability and stable operation
