The ELAC Elysée Apotheken Consulting GmbH is the largest independent pharmacy cooperative in Germany. With a nationwide network of over 590 partner pharmacies, the company aims to secure and strengthen the entrepreneurial independence and competitiveness of local pharmacies. To achieve this, ELAC offers comprehensive services ranging from excellent purchasing conditions and marketing instruments to business consulting and future-oriented IT solutions.

We are looking for a Controller (m/f/d) to support our team and take on responsibilities in accounting, controlling, and administration independently. The position is available immediately or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities:

You are a central component for the economic success of ELAC and our over 590 partner pharmacies. Your work ensures that finances and key figures are always transparent and reliable. This provides a foundation on which ELAC can plan strategically, optimally implement the agreed contractual contents with industry partners, and thus best strengthen the competitiveness of the partner pharmacies.

Accounting:

  • Creation and sending of invoices for all pharmacies and affiliated companies managed by ELAC, as well as for industry partners, partly fully automated
  • Support and further development of the accounting system used (HS -- Hamburger Software)
  • Monitoring of incoming payments and carrying out dunning procedures

Controlling:

  • Creation and evaluation of standard reports based on our data cube
  • Preparation of incoming and outgoing key figures from industry agreements for pharmacies
  • Verification and plausibility check of annual financial statements and other financial data
  • Contribution to the further development of invoice controlling in the wholesale environment for our partner pharmacies

Administration:

  • Maintenance and cleaning of master data and distribution lists of the managed pharmacies and industry partners
  • Coordination of selected administrative tasks in daily business

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in business administration or completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a tax specialist or similar.
  • First to several years of professional experience in accounting, controlling, or finance, gladly also through internships or working student positions
  • Very good numerical understanding and a structured, careful way of working
  • Very good Excel skills and confident use of Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems (e.g., HS -- Hamburger Software is an advantage)
  • Willingness and motivation to take on tasks independently and to develop professionally
  • Interest in economic contexts and in not only capturing numbers but also analyzing and interpreting them
