D365 CE Technical Architect

We are working with a leading enterprise organisation undergoing a major transformation of its customer engagement and service platforms. As part of this programme, we are seeking an experienced D365 CE Technical Consultant / Solution Architect with expertise across Customer Insight Journeys.

This role will lead the technical architecture, integration design, and end-to-end solution delivery of modern, cloud-first customer platforms, enabling real-time, data-driven, omnichannel engagement at scale.

This is a fully remote, long-term engagement, offering the opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-level transformation initiatives with significant technical ownership and impact.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Technical Design

  • Own end-to-end solution architecture across D365 CE, Customer Service, Customer Insights (Data), and Customer Insight Journeys
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures aligned to enterprise standards
  • Define data models, customer profiles, and unified customer views
  • Produce high- and low-level technical designs, integration patterns, and architecture documentation

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead hands-on configuration and technical delivery across the D365 and Power Platform stack
  • Design and implement integrations with contact centre platforms (Genesys, Cisco, NICE, etc.), ERP systems, and third-party applications
  • Build and configure APIs, middleware, and automation using Azure services and Power Platform
  • Support real-time data ingestion, segmentation, and orchestration within Customer Insights

Platform & Governance

  • Establish best practices across security, performance, DevOps, and environment strategy
  • Guide development teams and review technical solutions/code where required
  • Support CI/CD, release management, and deployment processes
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the overall platform

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with functional teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Provide technical leadership across transformation and migration from legacy systems
  • Act as the technical authority and escalation point across the programme

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong technical background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Customer Insights (Data) and Customer Insight Journeys
  • Experience designing complex integrations across enterprise systems
  • Solid knowledge of Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, etc.)
  • Power Platform expertise (Power Automate, Power Apps, plugins, customisations)
  • Experience producing technical design documentation and leading technical delivery
  • Strong understanding of security, data governance, and performance best practices
