Your Future Responsibilities as a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Special Machine Construction:

• Design and development of special machines and assemblies with a focus on packaging and automation technology (primarily from home office)
• Creation of 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and parts lists using SolidWorks
• Independent project processing and technical coordination with project management, production, assembly, and customers
• Support during assembly and commissioning of prototypes and series machines at the Wickede site
• Conducting customer training sessions in Wickede as well as in the USA and Canada

Your Profile:

• Completed degree, technician training, or comparable qualification
• Ideally, practical experience as an industrial mechanic, metalworker, or similar
• Knowledge in special machine construction with a focus on packaging or automation technology
• Proficient understanding of technical drawings, standards, tolerances, and parts lists
• Very good SolidWorks or other 3D CAD skills
• Good English skills for technical communication
• Willingness to travel (approx. 2 times per year, USA/Canada)
