Senior Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• Several years of experience in platform engineering or cloud computing as well as a deep understanding of networking and cloud deployment models
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (or similar), Kubernetes, Git, Scripting and a solid understanding of monitoring solutions (e.g. Prometheus, StackDriver, DataDog)
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm etc.) and automation using CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex problems across complex systems
• Comfortable utilizing AI and automation tools to optimize workflows and increase productivity

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain our development platform and cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code
• Build and maintain tools and services to enable and accelerate our development teams and improve the maintainability and operability of our infrastructure
• Consult, assist and collaborate with developers to enable them to get the most out of cloud-native technologies
• Improve our observability strategy and processes to enable data-driven decision making
• Develop and implement CI/CD and automation best practices
