Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise SAP BW reporting solutions within BW on HANA / BW4HANA environments
- Build and maintain data models and reporting structures based on SAP data sources
- Develop advanced data transformations using AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)
- Support migration from legacy reporting systems into SAP BW
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality reporting outputs
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance and data issues within complex reporting environments
- Contribute to transformation initiatives and future reporting roadmap (e.g. Power BI migration)
- Deliver high-quality work with minimal ramp-up in a fast-paced project environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW / BW4HANA development
- Proven expertise working with SAP HANA and modern BW data models
- Solid experience with AMDP for complex data transformations (critical requirement)
- Experience in reporting transformation or migration projects
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is advantageous
- Understanding of S/4HANA data structures is beneficial
- Ability to work independently and deliver in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and professionalism
- Based in Germany (required for onboarding and remote delivery compliance)
Contract Details:
- Duration: 3 months initial (extension possible)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Day 1 onsite in Mülheim, then fully remote (Germany-based)
- Engagement: Freelance
- Rate: ~€140/hour (flexible for strong profiles)
