About Us\nYou have a passion for technology and want to make the world a greener place? Then become a playmaker and join our team as AI Solution Architect (f/m/d) at E.ON Digital Technology. We play a key role in shaping the energy transition by leading E.ON's digital transformation across Europe. We explore new paths by developing ideas, breaking new ground, making visions reality, and bringing new technologies to life. We deliver sustainable technology solutions because... ... it's on us to make new energy work!\n\n### The Team -- Your Impact\nWe're accelerating the future of enterprise IT through agentic AI. We operate under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model: we design and build agentic AI solutions tailored for complex IT environments, operate them to demonstrate measurable value, and then transfer ownership along with the capabilities to run, scale, and evolve these solutions. Our mission goes beyond handover: we ensure that transferred solutions become resilient, scalable, and deeply embedded in enterprise platforms, forming the foundation for AI-native transformation across IT ecosystems.\n\n### Your Role -- Meaningful & Rewarding\n- Design and own end-to-end architectures for agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration, memory, tooling, and guardrails\n- Translate product vision into concrete technical architectures and delivery roadmaps in close partnership with AI Product Management\n- Select and evaluate foundational models, agent frameworks, and infrastructure with a focus on performance, scalability, and cost\n- Architect observability, evaluation, and safety mechanisms to ensure reliable, auditable, and secure agent behavior\n- Identify gaps in existing enterprise platforms and drive architectural enhancements to enable agentic solutions\n- Lead technical discovery and solution design for complex, real-world IT and business challenges\n- Establish best practices for agentic AI engineering and mentor teams on production-ready implementation patterns\n\n### Your Profile -- Authentic & Open-minded\n- Several years of experience in software architecture, including hands-on work with ML / AI systems\n- Deep expertise in LLM-based architectures, context engineering, and inference optimization\n- Practical experience with agent frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI) in production environments\n- Strong system design skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency\n- Proficiency in Python and modern ML infrastructure such as MLOps platforms, Kubernetes, and vector databases\n- Familiarity with AI safety patterns, secure execution environments, and distributed or event-driven systems\n- Excellent communication skills, able to explain and influence architectural decisions across teams\n\n### Our Benefits -- Smart & Useful\n- Hybrid Work: Combine office collaboration with focused work from home. Workation for up to 20 days per year within Europe is also possible.\n- Professional Development: Benefit from a learning culture with on-the-job learning, knowledge exchange, and individual training opportunities.\n- Generous Leave: Enjoy 30 days of paid vacation annually, plus Christmas and New Year's Eve off.
