Requirements

Must have:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Technology
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of sourcing analytics (ideally services)
  • Highly developed analytical skills including data processing methods, tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Power Query) and structured work style with a pragmatic hands-on approach
  • Comprehensive understanding about Supply Chain processes and tools (incl. SAP MM & SAP Business Warehouse)
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at the same and higher hierarchical level
  • Fluent in English and German

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring close, effective and supportive interaction with category teams and management to deliver valuable data insights into decision-making processes for strategic, tactical and operative Supply Chain processes
  • Combining Business & Supply Chain knowledge with strong analytical skills to optimize sourcing results (e.g. comparing complex offers on item level, supporting tenders and negotiations with data-driven insights)
  • Breaking down prices in its components to compare, negotiate and validate price differences
  • Applying advanced Data Analytics beyond standard KPIs to identify new data insights for category teams and as support for negotiation teams regarding prices, price forecasts & developments and spend volumes
  • Analytical support for standardizing service and product portfolios together with category and technical teams to increase comparability, group frame contracts and negotiation impact
  • Analyzing implications on categories or specific suppliers based on changes within the supplier markets
  • Driving and contributing to sourcing transparency initiatives and developing analytical best practices to support performance monitoring, steering and transparency
  • Continuous learning, developing our Supply Chain business intelligence methods & tools and an open mindset to work with diverse stakeholders belong to your daily job
