About the Opportunity

A fast-growing, innovation-driven organisation in the medical technology sector is seeking a Sales Development Representative (m/f/d) to support commercial expansion across Europe. Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Proactively identify, prospect, and develop new customer opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and continuously build a high-quality, healthy sales funnel.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach - understanding customer needs, challenges, and aligning solutions that deliver value.

Sales Cycle Ownership

  • Manage the full sales process: prospecting, outreach, quoting (in collaboration with technical colleagues), negotiations, and closing.
  • Conduct research and prepare thoroughly for customer calls, presentations, and engagements.
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with senior leadership, technical teams, and marketing to develop compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Contribute insights into account strategy, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Market & Account Insight

  • Conduct research on target accounts and monitor market/industry movements.
  • Analyse trends, competitor activities, and relevant regulatory changes (e.g., FDA, MDR).

Your Background

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Medical Engineering, Business with a healthcare focus, or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of proven B2B sales experience - this is essential.
  • Experience may come from healthcare, medtech, SaaS, technology, or other B2B industries.
  • Strong B2B online sales experience is highly valued (e.g., video calls, virtual demos, remote selling, digital lead generation).

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven "hunter" mentality with strong ability to generate leads, engage prospects, and close deals in a B2B setting.
  • Experience running structured B2B outreach via online channels (email, LinkedIn, virtual demos).
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and customer engagement.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable speaking with stakeholders at all levels - including in virtual environments.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience using CRM tools (ideally HubSpot) and digital sales enablement platforms.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
