I'm partnering with a leading travel platform in the DACH region that's on a mission to become Europe's #1 for short-break bookings. They're looking for a Head of Special Products (Deals & Activities) to join their remote-first, high-autonomy team and build out a brand-new product vertical from the ground up.
What you'll own
- Lead and grow a dedicated team focused on special deals and travel experiences (think attractions, spas, parks, zoos).
- Build strategic partnerships and manage affiliate & API integrations to drive growth.
- Monitor performance metrics, pricing, and conversion rates to optimize results.
- Launch and scale the new "activities" vertical with full ownership and autonomy.
Who you are
- 3-5+ years of experience in travel, e-commerce, affiliate marketing, or experience deals, with a focus on deals and leisure offers.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Fluent in German and English, with strong negotiation, partner management, and networking skills (ideally with hotel, affiliate, and entertainment partners).
- Analytical and hands-on with pricing strategies and API integrations.
- Expertise in affiliate networks with a focus on travel & entertainment (e.g., CJ, Awin, Tradedoubler).
- Bonus points for a business/sales background or experience at companies like GetYourGuide, Travelcircus, Booking.com, Secret Escapes, Holiday Pirates, Eventim, or Expedia.
