Job Description:

Your Responsibilities:

• Recruitment, qualification, and practical support of volunteer hospice workers
• Planning, organization, and execution of supervision/case discussions as well as training and further education of volunteers
• Coordination, organization, and execution of activities and events, including public relations
• Networking and cooperation with other services and institutions

Your Profile:

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree in social work or social pedagogy with at least three years of professional experience
• Alternatively: a nursing qualification and three years of professional experience in the nursing field
• Ideally, a completed or ongoing further training in Palliative Care, a supplementary qualification for coordination and leadership skills according to § 39a SGB V; alternatively, the willingness to acquire these within the first six months.
• Empathy, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• Affiliation with the Evangelical Church or a member church of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen (ACK)
• Willingness for flexible scheduling (partially in the evening and on weekends)
