Your Role & Responsibilities

Our platform offers a wide range of functionality, from our e-commerce offering evergreen.de to API integrations with partner banks and B2B partners, as well as software for managing our funds.

As technology evolves rapidly and we continuously renew our tech stack, we don't explicitly ask for framework knowledge. Instead, we prefer to talk about our Operations Infrastructure. This allows you to decide for yourself if your skills and interests can and will contribute to our platform's success.

Our backend tech stack is a mix of Python and TypeScript services communicating synchronously and asynchronously. As asset managers, we focus on high operational resilience and availability for our clients. Therefore, we are ambitious in automating our operations and live a true DevOps culture where we, as a team, share responsibility for development and operations.

You will take responsibility for building and further developing our platform infrastructure in the areas of Site Reliability Engineering, Security, Automation, Kubernetes, and Observability. This means: You will design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, establish security and compliance standards, automate recurring operational processes, and further develop our Kubernetes setup to ensure smooth deployments, scaling, and resilience. Additionally, you will work with the team to establish a meaningful and sustainable on-call concept to ensure our high availability and rapid response times.

We are driven in infrastructure by automation and by taming technical debt. We operate software that is low-maintenance, resilient, and enjoyable to operate in the long run.

We help each other in the team and take equal responsibility for our platform in both frontend and backend. This particularly means that we enjoy sharing our knowledge and celebrating good solutions together.

We work together with product managers and UX designers towards the goal of continuously developing and improving our platform for our clients and staying close to the market.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in backend development
• Experience with frontend development
• Good understanding of microservice architectures and their practical implementation
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices (e.g., Git, Docker, CI/CD)
• Fluent German and good English skills
• Teamwork, a proactive approach, and the ability to solve complex problems independently
