The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join a team of senior engineers building intelligent, scalable software.
You will contribute to the development of core platform features, new product capabilities, and integrations with third-party systems. This is an individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in a remote, collaborative environment and enjoys owning technical solutions end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable web applications
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code, primarily using Typescript, Node.js and SQL
- Develop and enhance backend services within a microservices architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise system performance
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Tech Stack
Typescript, Node.js, React, GraphQL, SQL, Python, Go, AWS, Azure
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with strong backend expertise
- Proven experience working with Typescript in a microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, React and GraphQL
- Solid experience with SQL databases
- Comfortable working in agile environments, ideally SCRUM
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
