About the Role
Do you think in APIs rather than screens and know what a good payment flow looks like? Do you want to take responsibility for a technical product while working closely with developers, partners, and stakeholders? Then you're in the right place!
As a Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for the further development of our API landscape, our payment processes with Stripe, and our partner systems. You will actively shape how our platform grows technically -- from API strategy and payment processes to the tools our partners use daily.
You can work either at our headquarters in Würzburg or 100% remotely -- as long as you are available to visit occasionally when needed.
Your Mission
- You will be responsible for the product development of our REST API, ensuring it is optimally usable for our partners and integrators.
- You will manage the further development of our payment processes with Stripe -- from optimizing existing flows to introducing new payment methods.
- You will drive the further development of our partner and administration interfaces -- the central tools our partners and our internal team use daily.
- You will be the point of contact for customers and partners who want to integrate with our API, translating their requirements into actionable features.
- You will prioritize and maintain the product backlog in close coordination with the Head of Product and senior developers.
- You will work closely with Key Account Management, Project Managers, and the development team.
- You will independently lead projects within your area of responsibility.
- You will keep an overview of the technical product landscape and identify optimization potential.
Your Skills
- You have at least 3 years of experience in product management, ideally with a technical focus.
- You understand REST APIs and webhooks -- you can read API documentation, define use cases, and speak with developers on equal footing.
- You have experience working with payment providers (Stripe, Adyen, or similar) and understand the complexity of payment processes.
- You have experience in the B2B SaaS or platform environment and understand multi-stakeholder dynamics.
- You are proficient with Jira or comparable project management tools.
- AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot are already daily companions in your work.
- You have fluent German language skills.
- You communicate clearly and independently -- with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Stripe specifically (Billing, Connect, Payment Intents).
- Experience with multi-tenant architectures or white-label platforms.
- Technical background (e.g., former developer or technical degree).
- Experience with API design and Developer Experience (DX).
- Experience in the automotive or mobility sector.
