The Role: Institutional Relations Senior Manager
As the Institutional Relations Senior Manager, you will advance Fever's strategic interests by cultivating strong relationships with government bodies, regulatory institutions, public agencies, and non-governmental organizations. Your efforts will be crucial for securing access to public spaces, public funding, and public-sector business opportunities. You will serve as both an internal advisor and external representative, shaping Fever's institutional voice, identifying opportunities, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in the cultural, tourism, and innovation sectors.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement institutional engagement strategies to support Fever's business objectives in public access, subsidies, and procurement.
- Represent Fever before government authorities, public institutions, and relevant associations to ensure visibility, credibility, and alignment with public priorities.
- Foster strategic partnerships with municipalities, ministries, cultural institutions, and public-sector entities to facilitate access to public spaces and funding.
- Monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments impacting the company and advise internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a robust institutional network at local, regional, and national levels.
- Support the leadership team by organizing and preparing for meetings with institutional stakeholders and acting as a spokesperson when needed.
- Maintain communication with internal departments to understand their institutional needs and align external partner engagement.
- Ensure Fever's active representation in key forums, public consultations, and sector-specific roundtables.
- Identify and propose opportunities for public-private collaboration, co-branded initiatives, and strategic alliances with public impact.
- Create tailored briefings, policy position papers, and institutional decks for various stakeholder groups.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in public affairs, institutional relations, government relations, business development, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build trusting relationships with public sector stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of institutional and regulatory environments (local, regional, national).
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to link institutional influence to business opportunities.
- High degree of autonomy and excellent diplomatic skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and aligning diverse internal and external agendas.
- Fluency in German and English; other languages are a plus.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in culture, tourism, events, tech, or innovation sectors.
- Experience with public grants, cultural funding programs, or EU-level institutions.
- Background in law, political science, public policy, or international relations.
- Familiarity with public procurement processes or licensing protocols.
