Your Impact

As part of our business editorial team, you will significantly shape our daily podcast format "im Loop". You will ensure that our community is informed in a well-founded, understandable, and multi-perspective way about relevant national and international developments in business, politics, and finance – as a basis for differentiated opinion formation.

Your Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and prepare daily national and international news with a focus on business and finance.
• Develop precise, well-structured scripts for the news segments of our podcast, making complex contexts accessible.
• Take editorial responsibility for individual episodes and ensure their journalistic quality.
• Identify exciting discussion partners, win them over for interviews, and prepare them content-wise and technically for recordings.
• Collaborate with the social media team to prepare content for various platforms and develop podcast content further for different platforms.
• Maintain exchange with our community and actively contribute to fostering engagement and discussions around the podcast.

Your Skills

• Ideally, you have several years of experience as a business editor or editor-in-chief and are familiar with the daily workflow of current news formats.
• You have a deep understanding of economic and financial contexts and a good sense for relevance.
• High journalistic quality standards are a matter of course for you: you work fact-based, precisely, and explain complex content understandably.
• You work reliably under time pressure and make sound editorial decisions.
• Balanced, differentiated, and multi-perspective reporting is not just a buzzword for you, but a conviction.
• Ideally, you have a network of exciting experts; or enjoy expanding it.
• You are eager to take on responsibility and are willing to go the extra mile when needed.
