Your Role
As an Associate Content Writer (m/f/d), you play a crucial role in FINN's success by making our brand tangible through high-quality, target-group-oriented SEO content, thereby sustainably increasing our website's organic traffic. Your texts are often the first point of contact for many users with FINN -- from informative blog articles to compelling product and landing pages.
You will analyze the needs of our target audience, translate complex content into understandable, user-centric texts, and combine editorial quality with SEO, performance, and AI search thinking. You will regularly work with AI tools for content creation and consistently check content for up-to-dateness, factual accuracy, and quality. As part of the content team, you will continuously work on data-driven content development and optimization against the competition.

Your Goals
- Create and optimize high-quality blog articles, landing pages, product pages, campaign assets, and newsletters.
- Develop user-centric SEO content for Google and AI-based search engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) with a high standard of quality.
- Utilize AI tools for content creation, research, and optimization, ensuring content is up-to-date and of high quality.
- Operate content daily in our CMS (Cosmic) and optimize page structure, meta-data, and internal linking.
- Conduct competitor, content, and keyword analyses to strategically develop our content and outperform the competition.
- Shape the initial touchpoints of many users with FINN through your content.
- Analyze content performance with the content team and jointly derive concrete optimization measures.
- Actively contribute to increasing FINN's organic traffic and visibility.
- Ensure a consistent brand voice, tonality, and linguistic quality across all content.
- Collaborate closely with the content and SEO team and continuously develop professionally and personally as a content writer.
Your Profile
- Completed university degree in a text- or marketing-oriented field (e.g., Communication Studies, German Studies, Journalism, Marketing, etc.).
- First practical experience in content/copywriting or SEO content (e.g., through internships, working student positions, or initial professional experience).
- Creative, with a great passion for writing and a focus on high-quality, understandable, and target-group-oriented content.
- Fundamental understanding of SEO principles such as keyword research, search intent, and internal linking, and their targeted application in content writing.
- Initial experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for content creation, research, and optimization.
- Excellent command of the German language, style, and tonality, fluent in German (written and spoken, C2 level), and very good English skills (minimum B2 level).
- Ideally, initial CMS experience or motivation to quickly learn new systems; we will support you with tools like Cosmic, Ahrefs, or Google Search Console.
- Interest in performance-driven content and initial exposure to content and competitor analyses.
- Structured, independent, and hands-on working style with a high learning and implementation speed.
- Enjoys change, is flexible, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
- Ideally, a passion for cars, keeping up with industry trends, and a solid understanding of mobility topics.
€42,000 - €46,000 per year
The fixed gross salary for this position ranges from €42,000 to €46,000 per year. Additionally, you benefit from virtual shares in the company's success (VSOP - Virtual Stock Option Plan).
Your individual placement within this range will be determined during the application process and will be based on your experience, qualifications, and specific expertise. The stated range reflects our current planning at the time of publication; we reserve the right to make future adjustments in line with market developments.
