Your Challenge
- As a (Senior) System Engineer (m/f/d), you will analyze and understand the network and storage solutions developed by us and used by clients.
- You will continuously design, expand, and optimize these solutions.
- You will develop automation, deployment, and provisioning mechanisms in the FreeBSD environment.
- You will work closely with developers and stakeholders in a complex environment and act as a point of contact for your areas of responsibility.
What You Bring
- Completed training as a specialist in application development or a completed degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable degree program, or comparable training or demonstrable professional experience.
- Very good knowledge and experience in UNIX, FreeBSD, and ZFS.
- Good knowledge of programming and scripting languages: Bourne and Korn Shell, Perl, Python, C, and C would be helpful.
- Good networking in the UNIX / FreeBSD world will aid you in your tasks.
- Good knowledge in the following areas:
- Specifications from BSI, ISO, NIST, and VSA. IT security management according to ISO 2700x.
- Environments with increased or high security requirements.
- Network, data center, storage, cloud, and application design.
- Mastery and application of Agile methods and concepts.
- High team and very good communication skills in German and English, combined with service orientation, to convince our clients.
