Construction Project Engineer (Technical Advisor) -- Eastern Germany
Location: Eastern Germany (near Prenzlau, Pasewalk and Penkun) / Hybrid
Forte Renewables is an international renewable energy consulting company specialising in wind, solar PV and BESS projects. We are currently looking for a Construction Project Engineer to join our team as a Technical Advisor on the construction of three utility-scale wind farms in Eastern Germany.
The successful candidate will provide independent technical oversight on behalf of the client, monitoring construction quality, progress and compliance throughout the execution of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor construction activities on utility-scale wind farm projects.
- Review construction progress, quality and compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction risks and non-conformities.
- Review technical documentation, inspection and test plans, and as-built documentation.
- Monitor contractor performance and prepare site progress reports.
- Support commissioning, final inspections and project handover.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or a related discipline).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in wind farm construction projects.
- Experience as a Site Engineer, Resident Engineer, Construction Supervisor or Owner's Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Fluent German (minimum B2/C1) and good command of English.
- Valid Category B driving licence.
- Willingness to travel between project sites.
