Process Manager (Junior / Senior) - Business Process Management (BPM)

Based in Frankfurt, Germany's financial capital, Frankfurt School is internationally recognised for its strong focus on business, management, finance, and digital transformation, and works closely with leading organisations across industries.
To further strengthen our process landscape and support continuous improvement across the organisation, we are looking for Process Managers (Junior and Senior levels) to join our team.
Employment Type & Contract Model
Full-time role with a flexible contract model. Depending on the candidate's profile and mutual agreement, the position can be offered as a permanent employment contract or consulting engagement.
Work Model
The role is remote-work friendly. Depending on role requirements, occasional travel to Frankfurt may be required.
Your Role
As a Process Manager, you will work at the intersection of business, processes, and change, supporting the analysis, optimisation, and harmonisation of end-to-end business processes across different functions.
The role is suitable for both junior and senior profiles, with responsibilities and ownership adjusted according to experience level.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyse, design, and optimise end-to-end business processes across multiple organisational units
- Facilitate process discovery activities such as workshops, interviews, and on-site observations
- Support the harmonisation and standardisation of processes across departments
- Document processes and ensure transparency in close collaboration with business stakeholders
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of process-related guidelines and standards
- Support change initiatives by ensuring stakeholder alignment and acceptance
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to align processes with system landscapes and digital workflows
- Support governance, review, and approval processes within the BPM framework
Your Profile
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant field with a strong focus on business processes, operations, or digital transformation
- A Master's degree is an advantage, but not required
Experience
- Junior Process Manager:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Business Process Management, process analysis, or a related field
- Senior Process Manager:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Business Process Management, process optimisation, or transformation initiatives
- Experience working independently with complex processes and senior stakeholders
Professional & Methodological Skills
- Practical experience in Business Process Management (BPM)
- Experience in process modelling (e.g. BPMN or comparable standards)
- Strong analytical skills with a structured and methodical working style
- Experience in requirements gathering and translating business needs into clear process designs
- Ability to understand, structure, and improve complex business processes
Stakeholder & Communication Skills
- Strong facilitation, moderation, and presentation skills
- Experience in organising and conducting workshops with diverse stakeholder groups
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to explain process changes in a clear, pragmatic, and acceptance-driven manner
- Team-oriented mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Technical & Tooling Skills
- Experience with BPM tools (e.g. Signavio, ARIS, Camunda, or similar platforms)
- Experience with the BIC Platform / BIC Process Design (GBTEC) is a strong plus
- Solid MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint, Visio is a plus)
- Good understanding of IT system landscapes, interfaces, and digital workflows
- Familiarity with workflow, automation, or RPA tools is an advantage
Languages
- English: Excellent written and spoken communication skills are required
- German: Very good to fluent skills are a strong plus
