Network Security Engineer (m/w/d) - remote

About Us

For a specialized security service provider that is currently expanding its German business significantly, we are looking for experienced engineers in the field of Professional Services. The company supports customers from various industries in building and operating modern network and security infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementation, and operation of next-generation firewall solutions (Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet).
• Deployment & Administration of FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM, FortiMail, FortiClient.
• Conducting security analyses and health checks.
• Support in integrating new security technologies into existing infrastructures.
• Creation of technical documentation.
• Creation of documentation, operating manuals, and training.
• Implementation of projects within the scope of compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

Profile

• Completed studies or training in the IT field.
• Several years of experience in the operation, design, and rollout of network security solutions.
• Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4--7) are an advantage.
• Good knowledge of routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, automation (REST API, Ansible).

• Salary depending on experience: 50-75k EUR.
