The Company
A leading international food manufacturer serving retailers, distributors, and foodservice partners in international markets.
Main Duties
Drive sales growth by managing distributor relationships, developing new business opportunities, and expanding product distribution across Germany.
The Role
- Work with and manage distributors to achieve sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand product availability within mainstream retail and foodservice channels.
- Build and strengthen relationships to support long-term business growth.
- Develop and execute promotional and sales initiatives, reviewing performance to maximise commercial results.
- Collaborate with distribution partners to optimise stock levels and maintain consistent product availability.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market developments, providing insights to support business planning.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market updates, forecasts, and performance analysis for management.
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate commercial activities and deliver successful projects.
- Represent the business professionally, ensuring brand standards and reputation are maintained at all times.
- Travel regularly within Germany to visit customers, support distributors, and develop new business opportunities.
The Candidate
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) is essential.
- Business level English is required.
- Experience working in Sales / Field sales / territory sales, ideally within the FMCG industry.
- Previous experience working with distributors is ideal.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities independently.
- Must have a valid driver's licence and be able to visit customers a minimum of 3 days a week.
