Job Opportunity: Embedded Software Engineer (Munich, Germany)
Our established client has an excellent new opening for a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in Munich, Germany. This is an English-speaking role within a multi-national business.
Work Model
Due to hardware requirements, the role involves significant on-site lab work at times. However, a hybrid model is in place, offering a 50/50 split between remote work and on-site presence over the course of the year.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience engineering C++ on microcontrollers. ++This is essential.++
- Experience engineering on STM32.
- Familiarity with Rust-based development on Linux and ESP32 is a plus (client is willing to upskill in Rust).
- General depth of knowledge with electronics is beneficial.
- Previous robotics experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Engineering new features for a robotics product.
- Developing solutions for remote recovery.
- Implementing energy-saving features.
- Working on new sensor development.
- Contributing to compliance and security aspects.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Approximately €80,000, dependent on experience (ideal budget is €75,000).
