Junior Project Engineer

Junior Project Engineer (Electrical) - Freelance/Contract

Our client is urgently looking for a Junior Project Engineer (Electrical) to be based in Berlin (Germany) on a freelance/contract basis. In this role you will be working on HVDC projects.

This is a great opportunity for a lower level Electrical Engineer looking to expand their knowledge base, and work on larger scale HVDC projects in Germany.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Background or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar fields).
• 2-5 years working experience within Electrical Engineering (or similar works).
• MV/HV experience.
• Experience in Project Management or Electrical Design would be a bonus.
• Soft skills are important for liaising with clients and customers on site.
• Require an EU passport or appropriate visa for working immediately in Germany.

Job Details:

• Type: Freelance/contracting.
• Pay rate: €35 per hour (negotiable & dependent on experience).
• Duration: 1 year.
• Projects: HVDC.
• Location: Berlin (Germany) - requires re-location or living in/near Berlin.
• Hours: 40 per week - Monday to Friday.
• Language required: English is essential.
• Desirable: German (not essential).
• Start date: Within the next 2-4 weeks.
• Interview dates: Immediately.
• Hybrid working: Option of working from home 2-3 days per week with the rest of the work conducted in the Berlin Office.
